8.1 Completed the New Entry Officers course at the HMAS Creswell Naval College followed by the Marine Engineering Officer Applications Course (MEOAC) at the HMAS Cerberus Engineering Officers Training Faculty.
8.2 On completion of MEOAC, I was awarded the Institute of Marine Engineers Bicentenary Silver Medal for "outstanding performance during training as a Marine Engineering Officer in the ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY".
